There is still time to enter the 6th Annual Bill Klinger Baseball Essay Contest. In honor of Bill Klinger, who passed away in 2011, his family raises money each year to provide opportunities for young baseball fans to attend a Brewers game. Students in grades 2 through 6 are encouraged to write a short essay about their favorite baseball player or baseball memory. Two lucky winners will be chosen and they will each receive two tickets to a Brewer game, a gas card, and spending money! Essay forms can be picked up at the library or on the bookmobile. The deadline for submitting these essays is coming up fast and is on the last day of National Library Week, Saturday, April 14.
