In conjunction with the state-wide Wisconsin Science Festival, we are proud to be hosting David Mickelson from UW-Madison.  Professor Mickelson will explain how the landscape of Wisconsin came to be what it is today. At times, two-thirds of Wisconsin has been covered by glaciers and the last glaciation was responsible for many of the glacial landforms we see today, including the Dells of the Wisconsin River. David Mickelson is Emeritus Professor of Geoscience, Geological Engineering and Water Resources Management at UW-Madison. This talk will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2nd here at the Kilbourn Public Library.
