Party on the Patio!
The book discussion this month will be a party. The title for July's book discussion is Circling the Sun by Paula McLain. Set against the majestic ladscape of early twentieth-century Africa, McLain's powerful tale reveals the extraordinary adventures of a woman before her time, the exhilaration of freedom and its cost, and the tenacity of the human spirit. Book discussions for this title will take place on Wednesday, July 25 at 1:30pm and Monday, July 30 at 6:30pm. Both discussions will be taking place outside on our fantastic patio. We will be serving African food and sunny weather with a side of interesting conversation. This is a book discussion you definitely will not want to miss. We will close out the Summer Book Discussion Events with local author Mary Leary Becker's Happily Ever After Everyone Else: Julie's Story.
