The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommended by Katarina Bivald is June's Book Club selection. This novel follows the story of Sara, who travels all the way to Broken Wheel, Iowa from Sweden to visit her pen pal, Amy. Upon arrival Sara is shocked to learn that Amy has passed away and she just missed the funeral. The town happily takes Sara in despite not sharing her love of books. Sara then devotes herself to spreading her love of reading to the rest of the town. However, her unconventional methods may force long-kept secrets into the open, potentially causing conflict.
