Come and celebrate the publication of Amy's first book for adults Laugh, Cry, Reflect: Stories From a Joyful Heart on Saturday, June 16 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Amy's book includes humorous and heartfelt stories inspired by true events about teaching, nature, pets and family. Some stories will make you laugh and other stories may tug at your heartstrings. Many of these essays will prompt you to reflect on moments from your own life. All are offerings of hope, wonder, and joy. Amy is retired fourth-grade teacher and began writing personal essays because of a desire to share some of her favorite stories and connect with others. She enjoys playing tennis, hiking with her dog Josie, and raising pet ducks. Readings from her newly released book will begin at 1:00pm and refreshments will be served!
