You are invited to "Fizz, Boom -- Read!" this summer at the Kilbourn Public Library. Explore the amazing science and exploratory fun of reading by attending special programs featuring reading, music, critters, dance, art and more. Don't miss all the stories, crafts, prizes, games, music, dance and other activities planned for youth this summer.
The 2014 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, pre-school through young adult. Youth are encouraged to participate in the reading club by keeping track of time spent reading to be eligible for weekly prizes. Families with young children are invited to join the Read-to-Me portiion of the program.
The Summer Reading Program kicks off on Saturday, June 14 at 10:00 a.m. Come to the library to join Kate McClain in a drum circle event. Learn how to use noise wisely to tell a story. Rythm insturments will be available for audience participation and interaction.

Here at the Kilbourn Public Library we are committed to creating a fun learning environment for children of all ages.
