In September we will be discussing the nonfiction masterpiece Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann. In the 1920's the richest people per capita in the world were members of the Osage Indian nation in Oklahoma. After oil was discovered beneath their land, they rode in chauffeured automobiles, built mansions, and sent their children to study in Europe. One by one, the Osage began to be killed off and many members of the tribe died under suspicious circumstances. Davin Grann revisits a shocking series of crimes which dozens of people were murdered in cold blood. This book is based on years of research. We will discuss this book twice in the month of September: Wednesday, September 25 at 1:30 pm & Monday,  September 30 at 5:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
